Privacy Policy

This page explains how Parampara handles personal information for families using a legacy profile.

Who we are

Parampara is a digital legacy platform that helps families preserve life stories, voices, traditions, photos, and memories of loved ones.

What information we collect

We collect the information families and admins choose to add to a legacy profile — such as names, dates, life story, timeline events, traditions, photos, and voice memories. We also collect basic account details for admins who sign in.

Why we collect it

Information is collected only to create and display the legacy profile chosen by the family, and to allow loved ones to share memories.

How legacy profiles are shared

Published legacy profiles are shared through a private link or QR code. Parampara does not show all family profiles in a public directory by default.

Guest memories and moderation

Guest memories are reviewed by the family/admin before appearing publicly.

Guest contact details such as email or mobile number are not shown publicly.

How long data is kept

Profile content is kept while the legacy profile is active. Families may request changes, unpublish a profile, or request removal at any time.

Who can access the data

Public profile content can be viewed by anyone with the private link or QR code. Admin-only content is accessible only to authorized family/admin accounts.

Your privacy choices

Families can edit, hide, or remove content on their legacy profile. Guest memories can be approved, hidden, or removed by the family/admin.

How to request correction or deletion

To request a correction or deletion, contact us with the legacy profile link and the specific content you are referring to.
